It's Photography Season!
​Now is the time to book your Fall portrait session with Little Blue Bow Photography!

Whether you want to capture a beautiful posed beach portrait of your family or prefer fun candids of your children splashing each other in the ocean or chasing each other at the park, Little Blue Bow Photography has the perfect type of portrait session for your family this fall.

Is a Mini Session or Full Session the best option for your family? 

We have a few options for fall mini sessions this year, so take a look and see which type of session and which location is best for you and your family! Family Mini Sessions are offered only a few times each year on specific dates at pre-planned locations. Mini sessions are great for families who are looking for an updated portrait of their family or their children (maternity clients are welcome too!)  It's a great way to get that holiday card portrait you love to send out each December.  If you love to have your photographer capture a lot of candid moments or prefer a good variety of scenery during your portrait session, then I recommend booking a full hour session.  Our full hour sessions allow your children to warm up to the camera and there is plenty of time to explore our location, allowing their natural personalities to shine through.

Morning Beach Mini Sessions will be offered only 2 days in September and October. (Examples of morning light are pictured above on both a sunny and an overcast morning.) They are perfect for families with small children who might not be their best selves come sunset.  Morning sessions start at 8AM when kids are refreshed and full of energy for the day.  Our beach mini sessions are a little longer than our other options because candids are a must.  A little splashing or racing down the sand is definitely going to happen because the beach is FUN!  Try telling a 4 year old not to get wet at the beach and they will be magnetized to the water. So let's have FUN and splash at the end! Beach minis are  25 minutes, 10 digitals included with your $275 session fee. (Additional images may be purchased.)

Sunset Beach Sessions will be offered in September and October.  25 minutes, 10 high resolution digital images included in your $275 session fee.  (Additional images may be purchased.)  Our beach sessions are offered on a variety of days and the locations. (Coronado, Pacific Beach or La Jolla.)

Eucalyptus grove mini sessions are filled with beautiful natural tones.  These sessions will take place in September and October.  There is plenty of parking just steps away from where we shoot.  This is a wonderful location for children of all ages, and it's located in La Jolla so we usually get a nice breeze.

Our Cactus Garden Mini Sessions (pictured above) will be held in September and October.
As you probably guessed, this location can be dangerous for small children who like to run around (or clumsy people like myself. It's a miracle I've never stumbled backwards into a cactus yet. Feel free to laugh with me if I ever do!)

Above is our Rustic Bridge location - Sweetwater Bridge in Spring Valley.
These mini sessions will be available in September and October. This is flat and ideal for people in a wheelchair or who have limited mobility. This location can be busy with other photographers and people hiking in the afternoon. If your children are easily distracted, you might prefer a morning session here instead of an afternoon session.  **The surrounding greenery is trimmed back in fall.

Above are samples from our Autumn Trails mini session location.  These mini sessions take place in the afternoon on various dates in November.  This location requires a short walk and one short, but steep hill in the beginning.  (Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.)
Autumn Trails sessions are 15 minutes with 7 high resolution images included with your session fee of $225. (Additional images are available for purchase.)  Please email [email protected] for current availability.

Above is a sample of our FALL LEAVES mini session location.  Short and sweet daytime sessions perfect for busy families.  10 minutes, 5 high resolution images included in your session fee of $195.  
November 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th 23rd, 24th and 25th. 
This location is great for young children. There is plenty of parking, no dangers of snakes, and there is a potty just steps away.
If you don't think 10 minutes is enough time, you can choose to upgrade to a longer session. 

'Tis the Season
Christmas Tree Mini Sessions take place in late November.  A "Christmas Tree Farm" set with real trees fun details for your family's 2018 holiday card.  These sessions are perfect for kids or families. 15 minute sessions in the afternoon, starting the day after Thanksgiving and running through December 2nd.  Plenty of parking, just steps away from where we shoot in Rancho San Diego (El Cajon/La Mesa area.)  $250 with 7 retouched, high resolution digitals included.  Christmas sessions will have a 5 day turn-around time to ensure you get your images in time to print holiday cards.
