The grass was the perfect height and the perfect vibrant green for this year's Spring Mini Sessions! We've had the strangest weather in San Diego this year. I had to cancel my first date of Mini Sessions because it was 98 degrees. I had to cancel my second set of Mini Sessions because it was raining. That's pretty odd for San Diego! Presley and her family were able to reschedule and I think they chose the perfect outfits to compliment the green backdrop. How sweet is this little girl!? She's such a doll, right? If you'd like to schedule a family portrait session or to be added to our Mini Session interest list, please email [email protected] (Little Blue Bow Photography only offers Mini Sessions twice each year. )

These sweet cousins were so much fun to photograph! We headed out to Mission Trails Park in San Diego, where I love to explore and find new pockets of beauty. Trust me, there's beauty everywhere you look. My photographer's eye has become accustomed to finding the loveliest of spots, especially for my children's portraits. Once you train yourself, you can see it almost anywhere. Simplicity. Tranquility. I love portraits in nature, and although San Diego is about as dry as the Arizona desert, I let the landscape speak for itself. This puts the focus on the child. Beauty in simplicity. That's my goal as a photographer :) The girls' Papi makes these beautiful guitars! I think Grace might have the music gene. She looks like a natural, right? Katrina and Kenny had a beautiful, fun and colorful April wedding in Coronado, California. I arrived to find Katrina and her bridesmaids laughing and completely relaxed, having a great time together. I knew at that moment, this would be a fun wedding day! There is nothing better than a stress-free bride who can truly enjoy her day! :) The sun was shining and they were surrounded by their closest family and friends as they joined together as man and wife. Kenny is quite the beer connoisseur. They chose to have a 'beer ceremony', their spin on a sand ceremony where they mixed two types of beer that represented each one of them . It was completely unique and perfectly appropriate for their personalities. So fun! Katrina and Kenny, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful wedding celebration. I wish you a lifetime of love and laughter.... Comfortable bridesmaid shoes is a great way to get your girls on the dancefloor! Thank you to these fabulous people who made the Evans' Wedding fantastic!
