Meet Luca. Ohhhh, sweet, sweet Luca. I have to go overboard (no pun intended) and share several photos of his nautical themed nursery. So Adorable! Mom, Kristin, has such a great eye for decorating. Every detail was perfect! Apparently her family jokes with her, asking when HGTV is coming to visit. Haha... I love that because I'm an avid HGTV fan, and Luca's nursery is a total contender for some of their decorating shows. Okay, I digress. Back to this sweet baby.... Luca is even more adorable than his nursery and we were able to capture a couple sweet poses before letting him relax and enjoy snuggles with his Mom, Dad, and of course, their sweet puppy who had to jump in front of the camera for a couple shots! Our four-legged friends are such a big part of our families, aren't they? :) 
I was dying to use this sweet newsboy outfit, and I think Luca pulled it off perfectly! Props to my amazing hubby who made me a mini stack of newspapers. Thanks Babe! :)

Oh, this sweet baby. Austin is pretty darn handsome and makes the absolute BEST facial expressions. He was all giggles during our session last month and he had me smiling ear to ear with his sweet silly faces! At the end of our shoot we had a little bubble party..... he was fully mesmerized! Those bubbles might as well have been magical because his eyes were completely focused on each one floating by him . What a fun time! I've known this beautiful Mama for 13 years! I can't believe it's been so long. Kim and I worked together in the restaurant industry long ago and I also had the pleasure of shadowing in her kindergarten classroom a few years back. She is an AMAZING teacher, completely creative and passionate about giving her students a top-notch learning experience. Everything happens for a reason- that was when I was about to embark into the world of teaching, and then I found out I was expecting my first baby. Teaching was put on hold. My baby brought me back to photography. I fell in love all over again. Funny how things just line up perfectly and work out the way they're meant to..... While teaching is always an option, I love photography and all the amazing moments I am honored to witness and capture with my camera. Just like this maternity session which I am in LOVE with. Simply Gorgeous.

It's genuine. It's inspiring. It shows in the way they glance at each other. It shows in their positive interactions with those around them. It shows in the way they speak about their family and friends. I witnessed this completely as we chatted about their engagement and wedding details over coffee a few months ago. Their wedding in October will be a celebration of the greatest kind. It's a celebration of true love and I'm so honored to be a part of it....
