These sweet cousins were so much fun to photograph!  We headed out to Mission Trails Park in San Diego, where I love to explore and find new pockets of beauty.  Trust me, there's beauty everywhere you look.  My photographer's eye has become accustomed to finding the loveliest of spots, especially for my children's portraits.   Once you train yourself, you can see it almost anywhere. 
Simplicity.  Tranquility.  I love portraits in nature, and although San Diego is about as dry as the Arizona desert,  I let the landscape speak for itself.   This puts the focus on the child.  Beauty in simplicity.  That's my goal as a photographer  :)

The girls' Papi makes these beautiful guitars! I think Grace might have the music gene. She looks like a natural, right?
