Birthdays and Blooms. 
​Once I heard the abnormal weather conditions would create a gorgeous sea of flowers in the desert I just knew a flower portrait session was in my future.  
The 2017 Super Bloom in the California desert did not disappoint!  It was absolutely gorgeous; endless wildflowers gracing the desert floor and stunning mountain views in the distance.

We decided to give Miss Piper an amazing 5th Birthday Portrait Session that she would always remember.
We don't often get wildflowers here in San Diego, let alone fields of flowers, so this trip was worth every minute of driving on those curvy roads through the mountains.  It was not only a beautiful and peaceful drive, but refreshed my soul.
 
Lucky for me, this sweet girl and her parents were willing to trust my creative vision for a little road trip through this beautiful sight.  Take a peek at some of my favorite moments from our wildflower adventure in Anza-Borrego.
