While I love the beach year round, winter beach sessions are EVERYTHING. The tide can be close to zero which is so pretty with the reflective light. The whispy clouds make the most gorgeous pastel colors with the setting sun and the weather is usually wonderful, not too hot and not too cold. This is February in La Jolla, and almost as stunning as this gorgeous Mama in our blush pink gown. This family has SO. MUCH. LOVE. I had the best time working with the Larson family for their fall family portrait session. Three beautiful boys stole the show with their sweet smiles and charm. This session was from spring when we had an amazing rainy season, super abnormal for San Diego, but I will not complain! Everything was vibrant and green for months and it was a nice change from our usual desert landscape. Will and Lynda chose this location due to the variety of lake, mountains and fields and I happen to think it was the perfect choice. Aren't they a beautiful couple!? We recommend having your session take place when you're between 30-35 weeks gestation depending on a few factors, like due date, health, siblings and location preference. Sneak Peek! I loved my session with Paola and Fernando at Belmont Park here in San Diego. Belmont Park is fun, colorful and full of energy with people, games, rides and San Diego sunshine! They wanted to celebrate their babies' gender reveal in a fun way, so they decided to grab a couple blue ice cream cones and let off blue smoke bombs on the beach. Yes, you read that correctly, babies! Twin baby boys will be blessing their home and hearts in just a few months, and I know they will be loved beyond all measure!
